Activities

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • Our students enjoy a curated mix of sightseeing adventures and educational excursions designed to showcase the culture, innovation, and beauty of the Bay Area. Past activities have included:

    • Apple Park and tech company visits

    • Performing arts shows or concerts

    • Whitewater rafting

    • Stanford University tours

    • Six Flags Discovery Kingdom amusement park

    • San Francisco city tours and ferry rides

    • Santa Cruz Wharf and Beach Boardwalk

    • University of California Botanical Gardens and Berkeley Marina

*All itineraries are sample activities and may be adjusted without notice.

  • Our workshops are designed to help students grow academically and personally while preparing for their future.

Sessions may include guidance on requesting letters of recommendation, panels with current Berkeley students, study and time-management strategies, or insights into the college application process.

Each workshop is tailored to support the needs of our students as they take their next steps in their academic journey.

  • Our optional evening walks give students a safe, relaxed way to experience Berkeley after dinner. Counselors lead small groups on short outings to enjoy local favorites. Whether it’s grabbing a sweet treat, browsing neighborhood shops, or simply taking in the city’s vibrant atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

It’s a simple, fun way to unwind and get a feel for life at UC Berkeley.

  • Our annual Talent Show is a fun and supportive way for students to share their creativity with our community. From singing, dancing, and playing an instrument to showcasing a unique skill, students are invited to step into the spotlight and perform for their peers.

check out our students’ video project

Each year, our most creative students take on an extracurricular challenge: create a video to showcases their and their peers’ unforgettable summer.

Students are encouraged to practice their leadership and communication skills by organizing participants, delegating projects, and leading interviews. Take a look at what they got up to last summer!
